The differential diagnoses involved in correctly distinguishing psoriasis from dermatophytosis are subtle and complex. This is because, to a great degree, the presentation of these skin diseases mimic each other. This Blawg aggregates pertinent medical literature which clarifies the defining features of each condition to hopefully prevent the all too prevalent and often protracted misdiagnosis and mistreatment of these diseases.
